The Restoration Will by Mayumi Suzuki (Japan)

Suzuki’s parents went missing after the 2011 tsunami. She found her father’s lens, portfolio, and their family album buried in the rubble. Through taking photos with her father’s lens, she felt that she could connect this world with their world. Family snapshots washed white, similar to her fading memories. By arranging these photos, she attempts to restore them.
